Rachel Ragsdale, LPC, BCN
Founder and Owner
Rachel, Founder and Owner of NeurOptimize, studied Psychology at Baylor University where she earned her undergraduate degree. She went on to earn her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. Rachel oversees all clinical operations and team specialists across all locations, while serving as a licensed professional counselor and board certified neurofeedback specialist and handling all qEEG analysis, treatment planning, and protocol creation. Rachel's own life was transformed by neurofeedback more than 10 years ago. She has unique insight and personally values each and every client's own journey thanks to her own experience with neurofeedback. In her free time, Rachel is an avid golfer and adrenaline junky. She loves spending time with her dog and her two-year-old son, Jordan. Rachel would tell you that NeurOptimize is her other baby and she cares for it as such.
Carli Streich, LPC, BCN
Founder and Owner
Carli, Founder and Owner of NeurOptimize, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico with an undergraduate degree in Psychology. She went on to earn her Master's in Clinical Counseling from Colorado Christian University. In addition to overseeing all clinical operations and clinical team of neurofeedback specialists, Carli is a licensed professional counselor and board certified neurofeedback specialist, handling treatment planning, protocol creation, and qEEG analysis. Carli believe that communication and clear expectations are key contributors to the exceptional client experience she strives to provide at NeurOptimize. She believe that life, especially the challenging parts of it, are not meant to be done alone and she works to offer that support to each and every client who walks through the door. In her free time, Carli loves to hike, do yoga, and spend time outdoors with her family and her puppies.
Director of Operations
Brandi graduated from Metro State University of Denver with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Physiology. As the Director of Operations, Brandi is responsible for all training and clinical operations at NeurOptimize. She is continuously working to refine the client experience through the treatment process so that each and every client has a positive, beneficial experience. Her background as a Division II All-American volleyball player prepared her for managing a multi-location chiropractic practice prior to coming to NeurOptimize. She is passionate and excited to be a part of this growing team of licensed clinical specialists.
Nicole Modesitt, ATC, CLC, BCNC
Chief Science Officer
Nicole graduated with honors from Florida Southern College where she studied athletic training and sports medicine. She continued her education at the University of Colorado, earning a post graduate degree in pre-med studies. From there Nicole when on to work with the University of Denver Hockey program as part of their sports medicine team. She also worked with the gymnastics, soccer, and lacrosse programs.
Nicole has been with the NeurOptimize team since 2016, specializing in neurofeedback and concussions. She is currently pursuing her qEEG diplomat and functional medicine certifications. In her free time, Nicole loves to play volleyball, watch hockey, and spend time with her puppy, Lilo.
Angie Noack, LPC
Lead Neurofeedback Specialist & Counselor & Director of Education
Angie received her Bachelor's degree from Mid-America Christian University where she studied Behavioral Science and Music Performance. She went on to earn her Master's degree from Colorado Christian University in Counseling. Angie serves as a licensed professional counselor at NeurOptimize and is currently in the process of becoming a Board Certified Professional in Neurofeedback. She combines fundamental elements from both studies the help change her clients' lives. She has clinical experience in treating addiction, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, concussion recovery, and performance anxiety. Angie is a fitness enthusiast who loves to spend time with her puppies whenever she gets the chance.
Mary Page Smith, MSN, FNP, CNM, BCN
Mary Page has more than twenty years of experience providing primary health care as a nurse practitioner. She combines her expertise in functional medicine with neurofeedback to provide deeper understanding and education to clients. Mary Page founded her own neurofeedback company and wanted to expand her ability to reach clients with neurofeedback technology, which led to her partnership with NeurOptimize. Mary Page earned her MSN from Regis University and went on to gain her post-graduate certificate as a Certified Nurse Midwife from the University of Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her husband, kids, and puppies.
Gabi Whitmer, MA, LPC
Lead Neurofeedback Therapist & Counselor
Gabi graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Sport and Performance Psychology. Gabi is currently completing her training for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). As a licensed professional counselor and neurofeedback therapist, Gabi's clinical experience includes patients with eating disorders, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. In her free time, Gabi enjoys playing and coaching basketball, skiing, live music, and cheering on Pittsburgh's sports teams.
Katie Cass, BCN, LPCC
Katie has a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, focusing on Human Rights, and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University. She began working in the mental health field in 2012, learning the best practices for working with culturally diverse populations addressing a breadth of mental health concerns. Katie is a licensed professional counselor candidate and a board certified neurofeedback specialist with experience in trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, and couples counseling. The Tennessee native loves to travel, backpack, do yoga, go running, and spend time with her family.
Kristin Mazzarese, M.Ed., LPC, BCN
Lead Neurofeedback Specialist & Counselor
Kristin has a Master's degree from Penn State University, where she studied professional counseling, school counseling and neurotherapy. Kristin has diverse clinical experience that ranges from anxiety and depression to academic performance and learning disabilities. Kristin has had the opportunity to see the impact neurofeedback therapy can have with her own children and is especially passionate about exposing more people to the positive benefits. In her free time, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking, skiing, and yoga.
Marina Bommarito, MA LPCC
Marina earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Tampa where she studied psychology. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University. She is also working toward her BCIA-certification and serving as an intern at the Insight Counseling Center here in Denver. Marina believes in empathy and empowerment when it comes to treating clients. Marina has worked internationally and domestically with clients of all ages to guide lifestyle improvements and provide support during transitional times.
Erin Griebling, MAC, LPCC
Erin worked as a nurse for 10 years after graduating with a BSN from the University of Illinois in Champagne-Urbana. After taking some time off to stay home with her daughters, Erin returned to school to study Counseling, where she earned her Master's degree and graduated with honors. Erin is a licensed professional counselor candidate and a neurofeedback clinician who is passionate about helping clients heal and subsequently thrive. She has clinical experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, concussions, ADHD, and substance abuse. When she's not working, Erin loves spending time with family, cheering on her Broncos, running, reading, and spending time outdoors.
Ellen Chabin, MA, LPCC
Ellen has a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Denver. After spending many years in the field of marketing, she went on to earn her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. As a licensed professional counselor candidate, she was worked with anxiety, depression, grief, and loss. Ellen believes that one of the secrets to happiness is living a well-rounded and health-conscious life that is filled with activity and nourishment. She helps her clients achieve this through a combination of neurofeedback and talk therapy. Her life experience and perspective helps her ensure every client feels heard and supported when working with her. In her free time, Ellen loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends.
Yvonne studied Psychology at Rutgers University in New Jersey, where she graduated with her Bachelor's degree. She has completed a number of neurofeedback trainings in both California and Colorado, as well as having extensive experience with administrative responsibilities. Yvonne combines her education, experience, and passion for holistic health care to facilitate a pleasant and simple client experience at NeurOptimize. In her free time, Yvonne enjoys traveling, cooking, and studying herbal medicine.
Rendy Marican, MA, LPC
Rendy holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Coaching/Physical Education and a Master's degree in Sport and Performance Psychology. As a licensed professional counselor, Rendy has over 10 years experience working in mental health care specializing in eating disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, and personality disorders. Rendy's specific passion is in working with athletes and high performers at all levels and age groups - assisting them achieve high levels of performance. Rendy enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing soccer, cooking, and reading.
Director Of Neurofeedback Services
Kim studied Psychology and Kinesiology at the University of Houston, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree. She went on to become a Certified Life Coach and is currently in the process of becoming a Board Certified Professional in Neurofeedback. She has training and certifications from NASM, NSCA, and IMG Academy. Over the last ten years, Kim's focus has been rooted in youth sports performance. She is passionate about training and mentoring athletes to achieve peak mental performance. Kim strive to address mental health across all spectrums and believes neurofeedback is an essential tool in doing so. In her free time, Kim loves to play sports, explore new cultures, spend time with her niece and nephew, and catch live shows.
Lead Neurofeedback Specialist & Certified Life Coach
Sarah graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. As the Lead Neurofeedback Specialist at our Resilience Code partner location in Centennial, Sarah focuses her practice of neurofeedback on concussion and traumatic brain injury recovery and resilience, sleep disorders, stress management, peak performance, and flow state achievement. She has work with clients of all types, treating everything from addiction to anxiety to depression. Sarah's expertise can also help clients struggling with ADHD or PTSD. She is passionate about helping people become the strongest and healthiest version of themselves.
Cheri Reeburgh, LPC
Cheri graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and a minor in Human Development. She went on to earn a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado in Denver. She worked in community mental health as a clinical case manager for 4 years at the Mental Health Corporation of Denver. While in that role, she went through extensive training to provide Dialectical Behaviour Therapy for high needs clients. In addition, Cheri spent 6 years providing extensive in home therapy for teenage girls in foster care placement and families in the process of adoption, family therapy and couples counseling at the Adams County Department of Social Services. In her free time, Cheri enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking and hiking with her husband and teenage children.
Dawn Marie Gillespie, LCSW
Dawn earned her Master Social Work degree with a specialized study in Clinical Family Therapy from the University of Denver in 2005. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy and psych-education to meet the needs of a variety of struggles, situations and symptoms. Dawn has helped guide people to live to their fullest potential. She has clinical experience treating abuse, depression, anxiety, anger, and personality disorders; helping to create wellness and healing in the hardest of situations. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She enjoys teaching trauma-informed yoga and mental health education classes as ways to connect with the communities around her. Dawn is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys adventures big and small.
